If you’ve been searching for the perfect holiday villa in Turkey, and specifically for a villa in Dalyan for rental, you’ve found it – Neseli translates as Happy in Turkish and Neseli Villa is our holiday home, but when we are not enjoying it ourselves, it is available for private rental to discerning families all year round.
Dalyan is located in an environmentally protected area of south–west Turkey. The town is one of the few surviving places of paradise, an area of natural beauty and historical interest. Dalyan appeals to a range of visitors with it’s unique setting and great choice of laid back bars, cafes and restaurants. Unlike some of it’s better known neighbouring resorts though, Dalyan is still largely undeveloped and has a significant number of natural and historical attractions on the doorstep, as well as classic Turkish friendliness and hospitality. Due to the fact that nearby Iztuzu beach is one of the world’s few remaining breeding grounds for Loggerhead (Caretta Caretta) turtles, an effort has been made to conserve the area’s astounding natural beauty. The beach is one of the most beautiful in Turkey and has won awards for it’s outstanding beauty. It is easily reachable from Dalyan by boat or local bus. The town itself is set on the winding Dalyan River that flows between the Mediterranean Sea and Lake Koycegiz, and on the other side of the river are the ruins of the ancient city of Caunos, dating back to the 3rd century, and the 2300 year old Lycian rock tombs carved into the rock face looking down over Dalyan. Nearby thermal springs at Sultaniye, and the Dalyan mud baths are also not to be missed and make for an experience out of the ordinary. The surrounding wetlands are a haven for a variety of wildlife and birds, and the town is offset by a backdrop of pine-covered mountains and lush fields, making Dalyan a perfect destination for nature-lovers.
